Honorable Order of the Kentucky ColonelsDid you know that the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels been providing grants to St. Joseph Children’s Home since 1956!  Their Good Words Program guidelines providing much needed items and projects that "can be seen, felt, or touched."  In fall 2010 St. Joe's received a 2011 Toyota Sienna which satisfied a critical need for transporting the boys and girls, ages 6-14, who are served in the Residential Treatment Program and call St. Joe’s their home.
Thanks to The Louisville Metro Council by Ordinance 218, Series 2010 for approving a request for funds in the amount of $16,500 from the Neighborhood Development Fund. We appreciate the following Council members for their support to the St. Joseph Children’s Home Residential Treatment Program.

City of LouisvilleThanks to the Louisville Metro Government Family Services Fund for awarding St. Joseph Children’s Home a 2010 grant of $20,000 to assist with salary support for three residential therapists.  St. Joe’s supports the Mayor’s Strategic Plan and toward that end, works to make its programs a strong, safe, healthy and progressive community for children in need.  Our programs fall within the following Strategic Platforms:

Volleying for a win-win situation  
August 22 was a great day for Volleyball Enthusiasts as they gathered at the 5th Annual St. Joseph Children’s Home Volleyball Open, organized by Bill and Jill Nold. St. Joe’s grounds were the perfect place for the event, and the weather was ideal as players and spectators met to support St. Joe’s mission of Giving Children a Home. Special thanks to Chris Dickerson, Arch L. Heady and Dignity Memorial; and Wade Lewis, Maximum ASP for their major sponsorships.
